2008- The Year of Preparation for the Silver Jubilee of the Diocese of San Jose Nueva Ecija
The Adhoc Committee on the Silver Jubilee is busy preparing for the grand celebration of the Silver Jubilee of the Diocese of San Jose Nueva Ecija. During their meeting in Pansol, Laguna, the members of the Committee approved the theme and finalized the monthly slots for the sectors to be highlighted in the year-long celebration of the diocese’s 25th anniversary.
The theme for this event is: “Ika-25 taong Anibersaryo – Hamon sa patuloy na pagpapalaganap ng Damayang Kristiyano!”
The sectors/ commissions to be highlighted for each month starting July of 2008 until July of 2009 are as follows:
July – OPENING CELEBRATIONS
August – RELIGIOUS
September – CATECHISTS
October – INDIGENOUS PEOPLE/ CBHP
November – SCHOOLS
December – DAMAYANG KRISTIYANO
January – PARISH WORKERS/ LAY LEADERS
February – CLERGY/ SEMINARIANS
March – MANDATED ORGANIZATIONS
April – YOUTH
May – FARMERS
June – PARISH-WIDE CELEBRATIONS
July – SYNTHESIS/CLOSING
With this development, the diocese is now moving forward towards the Anniversary Celebration in the spirit of thanksgiving for the bountiful blessings the Lord has showered the diocese and all its sectors. More updates are expected in the weeks to come.
