Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish holds its first Youth General Assembly

Licab, Nueva Ecija - October 31, 2008 was a joyous occasion for the young people of this quaint parish. They held their first youth general assembly in the term of their new parish priest Fr. Peter Albino, Jr. The successful event was graced by no less than the mayor of Licab, Mayor Domingo and the Diocesan Youth Coordinator, Mr. Jonathan Luciano.

The youth event was attended by young participants coming from all the barangays of the parish numbering to about 200 potential youth ministers. The mayor delivered a message for the youth to become more involved in the social services and be aware of their important role in changing the future. Mr. Luciano likewise challenged the youth to become catalysts of change in the society.
Formative inputs are also given to the youth participants in the assembly with the theme: Kabataan, maki-JAM na!.
